Fun Fact Friday! Next time you’re in our Waterloo location, look up as you enter to see several of the iconic Seagram’s pyramid barrels 👀 The Seagram pyramid stood for many years near the Caroline and Erb intersection, and was a staple in Uptown. The 272 barrel pyramid was dismantled in 2009 for the Balsillie School construction and they were given away free to the public. We opted to turn these barrels into a gorgeous but often overlooked lighting and art fixture at the front of the restaurant! 💡 Though the skyline has changed, we have an LRT system, a redesigned park in Uptown and the pyramid no longer exists, we’re so happy to have a section of it as part of Abe Erb 💛
