Who is ABE ERB?
Abraham Erb (12 July 1772 – 6 September 1830), generally considered the founder of Waterloo, Ontario, was the first Mennonite settler from Pennsylvania. He is well known for offering help to many immigrants from his native area through the means of education, shelter, and employment as they chose to move to the region.
Like Abe, intention is behind everything we do—from our very own beers, to the cocktails we shake, and the food we craft. We obsess over quality, consistency, and flavour, but keep the vibe casual and approachable. Rooted in community and fuelled by each delighted guest, we’re proud to serve up hospitality that feels real, honest, and human. That’s the Abe Erb way.
